BIOGRAPHY
Sarah Roberson is an abstract expressionist artist painting fluid acrylic on canvas with a resin finish. She grew up in California, living near Yosemite and then eventually finished her school years in Riverside County. She currently resides in Oceanside California. Growing up surrounded by mountains, oceans, and campfires, it molded her into who she is today and those elements are what inspires her the most.
After a painful period of her life she decided she no longer wanted to live by other people’s standards. She went on a journey to find her true purpose and create a life filled with creativity and joy. It was then she immersed herself into the art world. Exploring different mediums, fluid painting touched her soul. Hand mixed colors, poured onto a plain white canvas in layers and then movement of the paint is applied to create intricate detail, the end result are images much like life: chaotic and beautiful.
Sarah has shown at coffee shops, restaurants, galleries, art festivals, and model homes. She has partnerships with several outlets as well as commissioned artwork in collectors’ homes. She hopes to continue her career as an artist, and to spread the word of creating and believing in your own life.
ARTIST STATEMENT
My art is an expression of the emotions you feel in life that guide you and teach you the greatest lessons and catapult you into greater expansion. I learned after a period of suffering to explore these beautiful emotions. I found a way through my artwork not only to express them, but to share them with the world. I hope through my art, my story, and my words that others can resonate with my artwork and they too can find the beauty in contrasting experiences, thoughts and feelings.
