SAN CLEMENTE, CA (August 26TH, 2017) – The new jewel of North Beach, OC Contemporary Gallery hosted a highly successful event in partnership with San Clemente Lifestyle Magazine. The Inaugural Celebration of San Clemente Lifestyle was a private event that boasted some of the finest food, music and art San Clemente has to offer.
As a sign of the town’s increasing interest in local art, a very respectable number of pieces by local House Artists of the Gallery were sold during the event. More importantly, more than 15 local artists gained exposure afforded by the exquisite setting and fine guests in attendance. Special connections were made between the Gallery’s House Artists and guests. Other special connections were made between guests throughout the evening as well.
Consistent with the theme of the event, some of the best up-and-coming food and drink businesses in town teamed up with San Clemente Lifestyle Magazine to showcase their fantastic culinary concoctions. Drift Distillery and KonaRed collaborated on a vodka/coffeeberry juice drink called “Red Tide”, while Lost Winds Brewery offered one of their signatures beers, “TropiClemente.” Also on offer were both sweet and savory pies by Blackbird Artisan Pies, as well as a delectable charcuterie spread compliments of San Clemente Lifestyle Magazine.
Music was provided by a local band called The Justins. The band created a fun and classy musical ambiance for the event. Owner, Brian McCracken and staff were thrilled by the turnout and celebratory spirit at the event. The Celebration of San Clemente Lifestyle is sure to be a coveted event in the years to come.
OC Contemporary Gallery has proven to be an ideal space to host events. The structure itself is a piece of artwork, full of character and beauty. It inspires all who occupy its walls as well as the outdoor courtyard and patio, which are adorned with some of nature’s finest artwork. Along with works by local House Artists, the Gallery also houses original contemporary art, high-end secondary market works, photography, sculpture and other collectibles. With an international presence online as well, the Gallery regularly sells pieces from this eclectic collection.
